Thursday, January 19, 2012. Prior to Lakefront Brewery tasting at HoneyPie with the ever popular Hot Pink Hand! Dogs are apparently dangerous, well, at least to my appendages/digits of the left hand. The beer was unremarkable, the food not that great (I don’t think I have ever had so many beans in chili…and I don’t even eat beans. I spent most of the meal swallowing mouthfuls of them like pills), but I’m pretty sure I haven’t laughed that much in a long time while not significantly drunk. Note: 1970s/80s Baby Boomer Edition of Trivial Pursuit is ridiculous and apparently not for those who are currently under the age of like 65 or for those who do not have eidetic memory.

Friday, January 20, 2012. Too much snow to consider drinking…so sweats and a cat it is. More and more I’m beginning to wonder if left to my own devices, I might turn into the iconic spinster, cat lady librarian. I think I’m a couple of cats and a tattoo removal away. Frida, the Pee Queen, while cute here, is the reason for the upturned bed in the back. Somebody likes to show their displeasure in a very literal way.

Saturday, January 21, 2012. Very boring Saturdays slinging coffee at the art museum do not inspire me to do more than wear hoodies, drink more coffee, and read. Not to mention I had absolutely nothing ready for the upcoming semester- which doesn’t fly for long when you’re as stupidly anal as I am about school stuff. As much as I avoid/procrastinate about it, if it’s not on some bizarre level of perfect, I’m not happy to the point of mini meltdown. I assume this is how bored I look at work on a regular basis…attractive…

Sunday, January 22, 2012. Look! Actual clothes! For a work day…the Admirals hoodie is exchanged for old man sweater! Whooo! Not exactly sure what the hell I’m doing, but then again, this whole thing is a little what the fuck, so I can’t imagine some of the photos are gonna be any different. I can tell, however, that Twitter is probably the stupidest thing ever. No one needs 140 character after 140 character update about the improvement of your golf game or your baby’s diaper explosions. I, obviously, can’t say much about those who use social media, as I make a blog of photos of myself sitting in front of my computer like an ass as I use Twitter for work constantly- but I think I can still be annoyed to the point of hungering after Irish coffee on an almost constant basis. Reminds me…I think I’m out of Bailey’s…huh.

With the final purchase of a decent computer, that includes a decent camera, and far too much access to similar projects wherein the user takes a photo of themselves each day for a year or so; here we are.

I can’t say this is anything more than a public excuse for me to make dumb faces at a camera and act as a distraction from the mounds of library science reading I have to do and don’t really want to (is it bad that as a future librarian- I’m not a fan of reading…er, well reading “trade” journals on a regular basis”.

We’ll see how this goes- I’m tempted to take bets as to how long this lasts.

This all seems vaguely familiar.
